多年來在課堂、研究與展覽之間累積的筆記，
在這裡重新被梳理成片段的章節：
關於收藏的意義、展示的方式、制度的誕生，
以及人們如何透過博物館理解世界。

這些文字記錄著我持續思考的一個過程，希望它在緩慢展開的同時，也為讀者留下某種可停留的小空間。

This is a place where words unfold slowly.
Over the years, notes gathered from teaching, research, and exhibition work
have been reorganized here into a series of chapters—
on the meanings of collecting, the practices of exhibitions, the birth of institutions,
and the ways in which people have understood the world through museums.

These writings record an ongoing process of thinking.
I hope that as they unfold at their own pace,
they may also offer readers a small space in which to pause and stay.
